technology—Mobilized Film
Technology (MFT)—which achieves ultra high-rate, biological
treatment while minimizing energy consumption, sludge production,
and chemical utilization. In both cost and efficiencies, Ecovation’s
patented process results in optimal removal of organics with maximum
generation of biogas as a renewable energy source. |
| Our solutions also include the anaerobic technologies of Belgium-based Biotim N.V. Ecovation acquired the Biotim® UASB (upflow anaerobic sludge blanket, UAC (upflow anaerobic contact), AF (anaerobic filter) and other proprietary technologies for the U.S. markets. WE also hold the exclusive license to offer these technologies in certain areas outside of the U.S. The Biotim UASB incorporates a proprietary design that is highly effective in retaining biomass within the reactor. |

aerobic treatment technologies. Krofta is a leading provider of
dissolved air flotation (DAF) and combined dissolved air flotation
and filtration (DAFF) systems. Krofta has over 50 years of international
brand recognition—offering the Supracell DAF, Multifloat DAF, and
Sandfloat DAFF, effective on a wide range of industrial, agricultural,
and municipal waste streams. The Krofta systems offer: the smallest
available footprint; low maintenance stainless steel construction;
and full technology support including pilot testing, installation,
and operations. |

systems for odor and air pollution control through an exclusive licensing
agreement with Canadian-based BIOREM®.
BIOREM manufactures a comprehensive line of high efficiency, biologically-based,
air pollution control systems that are used to eliminate odors and
hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, total reduced sulfurs, volatile organic
compounds (VOCs), and other hazardous air pollutants. |
