Engineers will support the high-demand for Ecovation’s
wastewater management systems
Ecovation, a developer of sustainable and value-driven wastewater
treatment systems, today announced the hire of Donald L. Song, PE as
project engineer, and Brian J. Wells, EIT as mechanical designer.
“Our clients are going to benefit tremendously from the experience
of these two engineers,” explains Diane Creel, CEO of Ecovation.
“Don’s experience as a project and design engineer in hydraulics
and water control will enable him to contribute greatly to the installation
of upcoming treatment systems. Brian’s support as a mechanical
designer should help improve the efficiency and speed of each installation.”
Don Song has over 13 years of project engineering experience in civil
and environmental engineering. His career is highlighted by assignments
nationwide, designing effective wastewater control systems for municipal
water supplies and industrial clients. Before coming to Ecovation, Song
held positions at Brown & Caldwell, State of California North Coast
Regional Water Quality Control Board, Earth Technologies, and the United
States Geological Survey. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil
and environmental engineering from Cornell University and a master’s
degree in environmental engineering from the University of Texas at
Austin.
Brian Wells is a graduate of the University of Buffalo, holding a bachelor’s
degree in mechanical engineering. Wells most recently served as an engineer
at Architecture, Engineering, and Land Surveying Northeast, PLLC, where
he worked on the preliminary design and analysis of sanitary and water
systems and researched and selected wastewater treatment equipment components
to be used in systems. He has also worked as a drafter for Gleason Works,
and a mechanical detailer for Retrotech.
