ECOVATION NAMES MICHAEL TSCHIDERER EXECUTIVE VP OF OPERATIONS
Former Mpower Communications executive brings over 15
years of experience
Ecovation, a developer of value-driven wastewater treatment and renewable
energy solutions, today announced the addition of Michael J. Tschiderer
as executive vice president of operations to its management team.
“Mike’s had much success in a variety of businesses and
we look forward to his contributions in developing operating procedures
and guidelines as our company continues to grow,” says Diane C.
Creel, Ecovation’s CEO.
Tschiderer joins Ecovation with more than 15 years of experience in
operations and financial management. His most recent post was at Mpower
Communications as controller, treasurer, and senior vice president of
finance, where he was responsible for all financial operations, developed
company operating policies and SEC compliance procedures, was responsible
for real estate negotiations and management, and developed all insurance
risk management programs.
Before Mpower, Tschiderer was a partner at Bonadio & Co., LLP, where
he founded a management consulting division for one of western New York’s
largest CPA firms. At Bonadio, he also took part in mergers and acquisitions,
business development, and crisis management projects. Tschiderer has
also been an accounting instructor at St. John Fisher College and was
once co-owner of Professional Medical Supply, which was voted a Rochester
Top-100 company two years in a row.
“It was important that we hire someone with a strategic mindset
and entrepreneurial spirit. Mike’s experience in both public SEC-environments
and the private sector should prove invaluable,” explains Creel.
Tschiderer graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1983 with a
bachelor’s degree in business administration.
