ECOVATION TO CO-PRESENT WITH UNILEVER AND DECAS CRANBERRY PRODUCTS AT THE 2006 FOOD PROCESSING ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE

Ecovation, Inc. is pleased to announce that they will be co-presenting with two of their clients at the 36th Annual Food Processing Environmental Conference in Lake Tahoe, Nevada in March 2006. Both presentations highlight the benefits these clients have experienced from outsourcing of their wastewater treatment, allowing them to focus on their core businesses.

Mr. Wayne Dettmann, technical innovation manager for Unilever, and Dr. Bob Hickey, senior vice president of engineering technology for Ecovation, will present a case study entitled “Environmental Risk Reduction through Outsourcing of Wastewater Treatment Services,” highlighting the wastewater treatment system at the Slim-Fast facility in Covington, Tennessee, which Ecovation designed, built, and operates.

In addition, Dr. Hickey and Mr. Andy LaPerriere, vice president of operations for Decas Cranberry Products, will present a poster session entitled “Successful Outsourcing of Wastewater Treatment for a Cranberry Processor.” Ecovation partnered with Decas to deliver and operate a treatment system, while supporting waste minimization efforts that have allowed Decas to increase production and reduce their cost of waste treatment.
