Cranberry Process Wastewater Installation

Ecovation entered into an agreement with a Massachusetts cranberry processor for the installation of an MFT system to treat the wastewater generated at its Carver, Massachusetts production facility to ground water discharge. Previous wastewater generated by the cranberry processing operation was ineffectively treated in a large four-cell lagoon aerobic treatment system.

Ecovation installed a 1-module MFT system with final aerobic polishing designed to process a normal hydraulic flow of 35,000 gallons per day, up to 50,000 gpd and a treatment capacity of 5,000 pounds of COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) per day.
